About the Site
Problima is a site designed to connect people with problems/questions with reputable experts with answers. Users post problems or questions. Experts respond with Proposals.
Users pay the Solution Provider a low fee of $1 for their solutions. Users rate the Solution Providers.
Experts within Problima join by invitation. Invitation is usually send out to people with an authoritative reputation online. Their reputation
is established by a blog with a large following or by being associated with a reputable establishment.
Ratings
Users rate Solution Providers for their solutions. The ratings are categorized in five levels. Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor and Awful.
Price
The cost of each solution is initially set at $1 a solution.
Benefit to Users
Users can sign up at Problima to get answers to their questions. With the price set at a low $1, Users can accept multiple solutions. This allows Users to ask the most trivial questions and yet reach more conclusive solutions by reviewing multiple solutions.
Benefit to Solution Providers
Solution Providers sign up to answer problems/questions. They get paid everytime they answer a question.
Problima charges a very low fee of 10% of the Solution Providers earnings. The Solution Provider gets to keep the majority of their earnings themselves.
How does the Sign Up Process Work
Register yourself as a user or a Solution provider. The user typically signs up by creating a login id and providing their name and email address. We do not ask for any of your personal information. All transactions are conducted thru Pay Pal. Pay Pal is the leader of payments thru the Internet. You can sign up thru Pay Pal with a credit card even if you don’t have a Pay Pal account.
Users need to make a minimum deposit of $2.50 to sign up. No deposits are required from Solution Providers. Solution Providers have to register within the categories that they feel they are an expert at.You can also register as both a user and a solution provider by selecting two unique login ids.
How does the Process work for Users
After registration and deposit of $2.50, you submit your question within an appropriate category. You wait for Solution Providers to submit solutions. You accept a solution for the low fee (in most cases) of $1. You can accept multiple solutions to your problem/question. After you accept the solution, you rate the solution provider for his/her answer. That’s it.
This process continues with every question you ask . You make a new deposit when you run out of money.
Problima charges a low fee of 3% + 0.3 with every deposit you make. This is the fee we Pay Pal for the transaction. If you like, you can send us a check and this charge will be waived. Checks take longer to process but this is an option available to Users. There are no other charges.
How does the Process work for Solution Providers
Solution Providers register as a Solution Provider :-). When they sign up they register within categories that they feel they are experts in. Once registered they see questions submitted within their registered categories. They can respond to a question with a solution. If the user accepts their solution, they get paid.
Every month we send out payments to Solution Providers. If you have a balance of $20, we will send you a check. Problima only charges a low fee of 10% of earnings to maintain and support the site. Solution Providers get to keep the bulk of their earnings.
